Welcome to Praywall. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Praywall (the "App"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Praywall is a faith-based mobile application designed to help you build a daily prayer habit before using other apps on your device. Features include a streak-based tier system, AI-generated personalized prayers, mood tracking, daily Bible verses, and an app-usage limit ("Praywall Lock").

3. Subscriptions, Renewal & Cancellation

Praywall offers an optional premium subscription ("Sanctuary") that unlocks additional features. By subscribing you agree to the following:

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly or annually) through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform.
• Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Free Trial. If a free trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Price Changes. We may change subscription pricing. We will notify you in advance and your continued subscription after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Refunds. All purchases are managed by the relevant app store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to interact with the App.
• Share, sell, or transfer your account or subscription to any other person.

5. User Content

When you record voice prayers or type prayer intentions, you grant Praywall a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content solely for the purpose of delivering the App's features to you. We do not sell your prayer content to third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software in the App are the property of Praywall or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Praywall and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above or through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
